Sometimes when you get online, do you feel trapped by the feeling that you are drowing in a sea of data, trying to find that exact piece of information. I do. Is there an easy way to extract quality content opposed to what a search engine wants you to read (a click that will maximise their revenue)? Haven't read anything exciting in a while, but this article from wsj.com caught my attention. It explores how physicists are using big data technologies to trace word origins and their usage over time.
